100 Strangers : Stranger No. 22

It doesn’t matter how many times I have visited Barabazar, it never gets old. Undoubtedly one of my favourite places for street portraits in Kolkata. If you love to capture street portraits, this is your place. Best time to visit is in the early morning before the Sun becomes really harsh.

Giridhar, my stranger no. 22 by profession is a lemon seller. Hail from Bihar, brought up in Kolkata, owns a shop at Barabazar. The portrait of Giridhar was taken using Fuji XE1 camera mounted with Fujinon 18-55mm lens. Unlike other strangers he was not smiling which is absolutely fine with me considering he is a happy person in real life. :)

Looking at those greenish-yellow lemons, at Giridhar’s shop, in the cheapest price you can think of, I bought few of them for myself. Small gray hair, thick mustache and most importantly his strong jaw, I have already decided to include him in my 100 strangers project.

Let me know what you think by dropping me a note at the comment section. The 100 strangers project has been resumed, once again :)
