Street Read – Colors of Kolkata

Once again, walking through the older half of ‘City of Joy‘ with XF 35mm F2. Dotted with century-old buildings, streets of north Kolkata known to be the cultural hub of the city. Comprising of areas like Belgachhia, Shyambazar, Chitpur, Shobhabazar, Maniktala, Jora Sanko, etc, the area acts as a major commercial as well as a residential centre of the town. The building structures give an impression of the royal folk who occupied them.

While exploring through the narrow lanes of Jorabagan, found the guy (in photo) catching up with the morning read. Why not!

Hope you like the photo. Don’t forget to share the story. Explore more at Colors of Kolkata.
