The Hot Kochuri Shop – Barabazar

What can be more delectable than Hot & Khasta (bengali for crispy) Hing er Kochuris with Aloor Tarkari (curry made of potato) for Sunday breakfast ? These mouth-watering deep-fried round wonders are still one of the most popular choice for breakfast among Bengalis.

Spot this hot Kochuri shop & the chef himself, cooking Hing er Kochuri near Barabazar, Kolkata. It’s a small but seemed to be a well-known joint for morning snacks at Barabazar area. The divine smell of hot Kochuris was good enough to make you hungry, however I didn’t get the chance to taste it. Next time, maybe.

Image taken using Fuji 18-55 lens mounted on XE1. You can read on my photo walk at Barabazar back in 2014.
