The Green Teesta

It was near dusk, with the sky growing red in the distance. We were returning back to Lataguri after a terrific day spent at Kalimponga hill station located in the Indian state of Bengal.

It was just an usual stop to spend few mins at the bank of river Teesta. The layers of green mountains are standing still, the misty layer has created a mesmerizing serenity. The emerald-green Teesta was looking absolutely stunning.

Sky is growing dark. After the hop in hop off in the hilly roads of Kalimpong, I was feeling tired and bit hungry as well. But after came out of the car, looking at the Green Teesta flowing through the misty mountains, I was spellbound. Remember those feelings, when you forget all the problems, all the burdens, all the tensions in the world, overwhelmed by beauty of the nature ?
