Colors of Life – A glimpse of Teesta River

On my way back from Kalimpong to Dooars I captured the color of river “Teesta”. The Turquoise color has a lot of stories to share. The river said to be the lifeline of the Indian state of Sikkim, flowing for almost the entire length of the state. The total length of the river is 309 kilometres (192 mi).

I just couldn’t wait to post this photograph. The photo has been taken using Fujifilm XE1 camera with 35mm f/2 R WR lens. Who wants to carry a DSLR when you have such a lightweight gem in your bag.

More on the city Kalimpong and North Bengal on it’s way. If you still can’t hold yourself, keep an eye on my facebook page or follow me at Instagram.
